In Tev Scale Gravity Models

چکیده
Abstract The first results on next-to-leading order QCD corrections to production of two Z bosons in hadronic collisions in the large extra dimension ADD model are presented. Various kinematical distributions are obtained to order αs in QCD by taking into account all the parton level subprocesses. We estimate the impact of the QCD corrections on various observables and find that they are significant. We also show the reduction in factorisation scale uncertainity when O(αs) effects are included.

Remarks on models with singlet neutrino in large extra dimensions
Small Dirac masses for neutrinos are natural in models with singlet fermions in large extra dimensions with quantum gravity scale M∗ ∼ 1− 100 TeV. We study two modifications of the minimal model in order to obtain the mass scale relevant for atmospheric neutrino oscillations with at most O(1) higher-dimensional Yukawa couplings and with M∗ ∼ a few TeV. 1) In models with singlet fermions in smal...

Signature of Randall-Sundrum Quantum Gravity model in γγ scattering in the TeV range. Abstract We examine the implications of the Randall-Sundrum gravity models on γγ scattering in the TeV range. It has recently been proposed that the scale of weak interactions M ∼ 1T eV is the only fundamental scale of energy in the description of particle interactions. The conventional scale of gravitational ...
متن کاملBlack Hole and Brane Production in Tev Gravity: a Review
In models with large extra dimensions particle collisions with center-of-mass energy larger than the fundamental gravitational scale can generate non-perturbative gravitational objects such as black holes and branes. The formation and the subsequent decay of these super-Planckian objects would be detectable in particle colliders and high energy cosmic ray detectors, and have interesting implica...

متن کاملSignatures of TeV Scale Gravity in High Energy Collisions
In TeV scale unification models, gravity propagates in 4+δ dimensions while gauge and matter fields are confined to a four dimensional brane, with gravity becoming strong at the TeV scale. For a such scenario, we study strong gravitational interactions in a effective Schwarzschild geometry. Two distinct regimes appear. For large impact parameters, the ratio ρ ∼ (Rs/r0) , (with Rs the Schwarzsch...
